We have ten days left of the school year! Next week, our fifth graders have their first end of year event with a visit to Bryan Middle School on Monday morning. We are looking forward to celebrating their time as Jackson Jaguars while also preparing them for sixth grade.
As we head into the last three weeks of school, we are excited to finish the year strong with meaningful learning and some fun events to celebrate our school community. Throughout the next few weeks, we will be updating reading benchmarks for students to measure their growth as readers this school year. These assessments are given to each child in a one to one setting.
There are four more weeks to the 2020-2021 school year. We plan to finish strong with learning and celebrate our hard work for the year. Your child’s teacher will share information about end of year events with you as the dates approach.
It is hard to believe that we are headed into the final five weeks of the 2020-2021 school year. We continue to focus on learning and look forward to some celebratory events at the end of May. Your child’s teacher will be in touch with you about field day and a class party so you can make sure your in-person learner is prepared for those events. If we can support you and your family in any way in the coming weeks, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
It was a wonderful week filled with excitement as we welcomed students for full days with lunch and recess. Our students are reconnecting with friends, enjoying additional time in art, music, library, and PE, spending additional time working on literacy skills, and enjoying their new science units.
